Art and Design

After many years of exploring different media and art forms, from conceptual events through sculpture, drawing, acrylic and oil painting and both surreal and representational etching, I found my home in digital art.

I have been working intensively in digital creation for the last five years. One year ago I resigned my position as a Computer Graphics Specialist at Colorado State University to devote full time to my art. The result has been a prolific surge of creativity with over a thousand new high resolution images created during that year.

I find that my work falls in series. A new avenue of concept or design will open, perhaps with a single picture that is like a gate opening to a garden of creation. I will happily play in the garden until a new gate opens.

While being artistically free I generally use consistent format. My horizontal series are 2456px by 3440 px. My vertical Night Flight series is 4000px by 6000 px.
