In this text there are some common words which I have used with special shades or
limitations of meaning. These words are listed and their meanings are described in this
glossary.
Action is used in this text in the rather narrow sense of physical movements of the body which
are intended to influence what is called the external world. Part of your current action is
reading these words.
Agents are personifications of thought events; I have personified them because they seem to
represent aspects of the self of subjective experience. How would the agents react to reading
these words?
Assent means to agree or accept in one's own mind. I assent that I am writing these words.
Awareness is the fundamental concept which illuminates this text; it is the name chosen for the
essence of subjective experience. Writing these words is part of my awareness.
The base of a void set, which we may sometimes refer to as the base of the void (in being), is the
set of all forms which have in fact entered into being from that void.
Being is defined as the content of awareness; it is what subjective experience experiences. These
words come into being when I think them and again when you read them.
Consciousness is used herein in the rather general sense of subjective experience where we do
not necessarily specify it further. Your consciousness is experiencing, or has experienced,
reading these words.
Distinguish means to actually explicitly mention something, or more generally for some
particular to come into being; for example: 2.588389587777723474589 is distinguished because
it has been written, whereas 78956.9950004569832752 was probably not distinguished until I
recently keyed it into this text. These words are distinguished when I write them.
Distinction is used to denote the intention of a boundary and the divergence of meanings
separated by the boundary. Does reading these words induce the reader to draw a significant
distinction between before and after?
Mind has several usages which change as the text progresses; early in the text mind is almost
synonymous with subjective experience or consciousness, later mind is used to indicate a
focused set of thoughts and before we have finished mind is given a technical definition as a
subset of the set of sets of thoughts. The set of thoughts which occurs when you read these
words is an element of mind.
Objective. Self existent. According to the principle of the objective subjective, your subjective
experience when you read these words is objective.
Objective Subjective is used to denote the self existent experience of a consciousness awareness.
The fact of your experience while reading these words is part of the objective subjective.
The potentia of a void set, or of a void (in being) is the set of all forms in the void set except the
base.
Priority is a logical category generalized from causation and order to fit the realities of
subjective experience. Your experience in reading these words is prior to you than my
experience in writing these words.
A refinement of a void set is a transformation of that void which enlarges the void set.
Reflection is used to denote an aspect of consciousness which is aware of another aspect of
consciousness; although where I write 'another' just above I do not mean necessarily different;
reflection can reflect reflection. Are you reflecting upon yourself reading these words?
Subjective Existing in a person's experience and part of that experience. Your experience while
reading these words is objectively subjective.
Subjective experience is what is. While you are reading these words, this is part of your
subjective experience.
Subjective Objective describes the subjective belief that there is an objective reality external to
and prior to subjective experience. According to the subjective objective, these words have a
meaning external to and prior to your subjective experience of reading them.
Teleos, stolen from Greek, intends intention; in this text teleos is a part of thought-to. It was
your teleos to read these words.
Thought is the flux of subjective experience, the progression of mental events, the flow of
awareness. These words are now influencing your thought.
Thoughts are specified sections of thought. (In English the singular word for thoughts is
confused with, or the same word with, the flux of thought.) Would it be more accurate to write
that each of these words occasioned thoughts when read or that this whole sentence induces
thoughts?
Thought-from insinuates a predecessor; thought-from is deprecated in this text. Neither you nor
I really know where these words were thought-from.
Thought-to is an aspect of present thought which intends a direction; thought-to is approved in
this text. Where are you thought-to as you read these words?
Time is somehow deduced from the experience that change is part of the flux of thought; I
suspect that time is a figment of our limited imaginations. Are you reading these words in
present, past, or future time?
Unitary awareness is what seems to occur before distinctions are drawn. Unitary awareness is
prior to these words.
The void set of a void in being is the set of all forms which may enter into being from that void.
