VOID

MIND ALIVE

AS READ BY THE AUTHOR
Can we imagine the pure void? The pure void does not exist, it is nowhere, nothing. The void has no source, origin or cause; it has no history. But consider the properties of the void which follow from its nonexistence. Being not, the pure void has no limits; it is endless, timeless. Being empty, the pure void is without boundaries, so even though it is nowhere, it is as if it were everywhere; there are no barriers between us and the void, just as if it were right here, as if every particle of our being were in direct contact with the void. Being without substance, the pure void has no structure and thus no division, so even though the natural number of the void would be zero, from the point of view of being it is as though the void were one. Being nothing, the pure void has no action, so to being it is as though the void were passive, silent. If we beings look toward the void, it is as though we were immediately connected with an open, quiet, unified and boundless vastness.
